Bled Over Heels

January 2026 - Slovenia

A few moments from ringing in the new year in Ljubljana and Bled though so much of our time (and our hearts) stayed in Bled. Our time there felt like a fairy-tale. Storybook views, bundled-up kids, and warm stops along the way. Our days were spent wandering the beautiful outdoor spaces, and ended with the coziest food and warm drinks at the Christmas market.

The kids fully embraced the dragon lore. Climbing to the top of Bled Castle and finding dragons of their own to take home.

It was the sweetest way to start a new year. I’m feeling so grateful for this season, for the chance to explore, and for the memories we’re getting to make with our kids along the way.
